<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>A phenotype-based approach to treatment of bronchial asthma draws the growing attention of experts worldwide. One of asthma phеnotypes is comorbidity of asthma and overweight (including obesity). Some features of this phenotype have recently been described in molecular studies. An intensive search of relationships between phenotype, genotype and pathogenic mechanisms of the disease is suggested to be useful for development of effective therapeutic algorithm with the highest predictive value in this cohort of patiens. </p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>бронхиальная астма</kwd><kwd>ожирение</kwd><kwd>фенотип</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>bronchial asthma</kwd><kwd>obesity</kwd><kwd>phenotype</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Global Initiative for Asthma (GINA) Guidelines 2014. http://www.ginasthma.org</mixed-citation><mixed-citation xml:lang="en">Global Initiative for Asthma (GINA) Guidelines 2014. http://www.ginasthma.org</mixed-citation></citation-alternatives></ref><ref id="cit2"><label>2</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Luskin A.T.
