В амбулаторных условиях пациенты с БА (n = 58), соответствующие критериям включения / исключения из исследования, получили 1 дозу вакцины "Превенар13" внутримышечно в левое плечо (n = 33; 1я группа), либо 1 дозу вакцины "Пневмо23" внутримышечно в левое плечо (n = 25; 2я группа). Проводилась сравнительная оценка клинической эффективности (число обострений, курсов антимикробных химиопрепаратов, госпитализаций) применения ПКВ13 и ППВ23 у пациентов с БА. Оценивалось число обострений БА, курсов антибактериальной терапии, госпитализаций по поводу обострений БА за 1 год до вакцинации и в течение 1 года после вакцинации соответственно. Вакцинация пациентов с БА ПКВ13 или ППВ23 характеризовалась высокой клинической эффективностью. Установлено, что при наличии выбора введения ПКВ13 или ППВ23 у пациентов с БА следует отдавать предпочтение в пользу конъюгированного вакцинного препарата. Требуются дополнительные исследования микробиологического, иммунологического и других эффектов при использовании "Превенар13" и "Пневмо23" у пациентов с БА.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Comparative data on clinical efficacy of pneumococcal vaccination with 13valent conjugate vaccine (PCV13) or 23valent polysaccharide vaccine (PPV23) in asthma patients have been reported in the article.</p><sec><title>Aim</title><p>Aim. The was to evaluate clinical efficacy of PCV13 and PPV23 in patients withasthma.</p></sec><sec><title>Methods</title><p>Methods. Clinical efficacy of vaccination was evaluated using exacerbation rate, need in antibiotics and hospitalizations. We estimated number of exacerbations, number of antibacterial courses and number of hospitalizations for asthma exacerbation in a year before and after vaccination.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. The study involved 58 asthma patients. Of them, 33 patients received a single dose of PCV13 intramuscularly and 25 patients received a single dose of PPV23 intramuscularly. Baseline characteristics were similar in both groups. In a year after the vaccination, number of exacerbation and hospitalizations due to asthma and need in antibiotics significantly reduced.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion. Vaccination of asthma patients with PCV13 or PPV23 vaccines was highly efficient with the benefit of PCV13.
