В исследовании приняли участие пациенты с БА вне периода обострения (n = 100). В соответствии со значениями индекса массы тела пациенты были распределены на 3 группы: 1-я (n = 36) – лица с нормальной массой тела, 2-я (n = 40) – с избыточной массой тела, 3-я (n = 24) – с ожирением. В ходе исследования проводилось мониторирование суточной АР, оценивались скорость распространения пульсовой волны (СРПВ) в аорте, индекс АР, индекс аугментации.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. В результате исследования выявлено повышение АР за сутки, дневные и ночные часы у пациентов с БА и сопутствующим ожирением. Более чем у 80 % больных с фенотипом БА и ожирения отмечено повышение СРПВ в аорте &gt; 10 м / с в дневное время.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. У пациентов с БА и ожирением отмечается повышение суточной АР. Соответственно, у этих пациентов увеличивается риск развития сердечно-сосудистых заболеваний и их осложнений.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Obesity is an important comorbidity in patients with asthma, and this combination is associated with increased cardiovascular risk.</p><p>The aim of the study was to evaluate 24-hour arterial stiffness in asthma patients with excess body weight and obesity.</p><sec><title>Methods</title><p>Methods. The study included 100 patients with asthma who were divided into three groups according to their body mass index (BMI). The first group included 36 patients with normal BMI, the second – 40 patients with excess body weight, the third – 24 patients with obesity. The vascular stiffness parameters were evaluated in all patients using BPlab. Аоrtic pulse wave velocity, augmentation index, and arterial stiffness index were also assessed.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. The 24-hour arterial stiffness, daytime and nighttime arterial stiffness values were increased in the patients with asthma and obesity. More than 80% of the asthma patients with obesity have higher pulse wave velocity in the daytime.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion.
