В последнее время широкое и часто необоснованное применение антибиотиков привело к тому, что значительно увеличилось число штаммов бактерий, устойчивых к одному или нескольким антибиотикам.

Одним из главных механизмов развития бактериальной устойчивости к пенициллинам и цефалоспоринам является образование бета-лактамаз, которые гидролизуют молекулу антибиотика [1]. С расщеплением бета-лактамной связи антибиотик теряет свою бактерицидную эффективность [2].
