<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>To date, non-invasive assessment of the right parts of the heart remains an urgent problem. Relevance. Echocardiography is still one of the principal functional research methods, which allows you to identify pathological changes quickly and objectively in both left and right parts of the heart.Results. The development and improvement of the technical capabilities of ultrasound scanners leads to new methods for calculating the indicators of the functional state of the heart and a more accurate understanding of the pathological processes occurring in a particular case. Conclusion. Echocardiography occupies a leading position in everyday clinical practice because of its safety and the possibility of bedside examination of urgent patients with circulatory failure.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>Д.Д.Плетнев</kwd><kwd>эхокардиография</kwd><kwd>правосторонняя сердечная недостаточность</kwd><kwd>инфаркт миокарда</kwd><kwd>правый желудочек</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>D.D.Pletnev</kwd><kwd>echocardiography</kwd><kwd>right-sided heart failure</kwd><kwd>myocardial infarction</kwd><kwd>right ventricle</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Starr I., Jeffers W.A., Meade R.H.
