тиотропием бромида (Спирива). Динамическое наблюдение за больными осуществлялось с помощью бодиплетизмографии, определения диффузионной способности легких, оценки качества жизни. Исследование подтвердило способность данного препарата тормозить
прогрессирование обструктивного синдрома и улучшать бронхиальную проходимость, вследствие уменьшения сопротивления дыхательных путей на выдохе. Кроме того, впервые была доказана способность Спиривы достоверно улучшать диффузионную способность
легких, что приводит к уменьшению выраженности хронической дыхательной недостаточности и, в конечном итоге, улучшает качество жизни больных ХОБЛ.
